Accounting Manager, F&BPay Details:
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $105,000 to $130,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.OCVIBE, a premier mixed-use community and live entertainment district, is coming to Anaheim in 2027! This $5 billion, 95-acre, mixed-use community will surround its anchor, Honda Center, with new live entertainment venues, dining and retail offerings, and public amenities. From intimate clubs to a new 6K-capacity concert venue, OCVIBE will provide a full range of entertainment, activating the District daily for the enjoyment of its guests. This will include 5 venues that will be serviced by the AAM F&B organization.
The Accounting Manager, F&B is a full-time, exempt position based at ACC in Anaheim. This role manages and oversees the daily accounting operations for the Food & Beverage organization for all Venues, with primary responsibility for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The Accounting Manager will develop and maintain scalable processes across multiple entities, enforce company spending policies, maintain effective internal controls, and support accurate and timely financial reporting. The position requires 5-10 years of accounting or finance experience, including required experience working with multiple entities.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting function for F&B venues
Develop, document, and maintain accounting processes across multiple entities
Review and approve journal entries for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate support
Review and reconcile POS sales reports, record revenue to F&B general ledger according to respective sales categories, department and events
Reconcile daily settlements between POS reports and bank statement
Prepare financial recap reports for events and venue operations
Reconcile intercompany accounts and resolve differences in a timely manner
Prepare and review monthly balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations
Assist with revenue and expenditure variance analysis and communicate key drivers
Ensure monthly and year-end close deadlines are met
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities, including timely processing, billing, collections, and issue resolution
Help enforce company spending policies and maintain effective internal controls supporting accurate financial reporting
Manage cash flow activities and support liquidity planning
Assist with budget monitoring and analyze actual results against budget
Support ad hoc reporting, special projects, and other accounting initiatives
Support year-end financial audits and maintain fiscal files and records that appropriately document transactions
Achieve financial accounting objectives established by the company and promote continuous process improvement
Skills and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
Multi-Entity Experience: Required experience working with multiple legal entities and intercompany activity
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required
Systems: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting principles, financial reporting, GAAP, and internal controls
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to direct, supervise, and develop staff while managing competing priorities and deadlines
Accuracy: High attention to detail with a consistent focus on completeness and accuracy
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
Results Orientation: Strong leadership, accountability, and dedication to achieving results and improving processes
