The Position
Market Access and Pricing Specialist is a cluster position, which is responsible for Organon products Pricing and Market Access activities in Baltic and Adriatic countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Hercegovina, N. Macedonia, Albania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania). This covers locally required mandatory actions like international reference procedures and submissions and the development of the pricing strategy in collaboration with the EEI Pricing Lead and Commercial teams, as well as its implementation.
The submission of pricing dossiers and the negotiations with authorities ask for a knowledge of the health care and pricing system as well as a sound understanding of the concerned therapeutic areas. There also needs to be a strong awareness for the business implications of our pricing activities. Therefore, a strong cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders is an important mandate of this position.
Organizational Integration
This position reports into Pricing Lead EEI
Responsibilities
Pricing and Reimbursement Activities (IRP, products LP/RI maintenance) in the relevant EEI countries.
Analyze market trends and competitors' pricing strategies to develop pricing models and recommendations.
Contribute on developing and implementing pricing policies and guidelines to maintain pricing integrity.
Utilize data analytics tools to identify pricing opportunities and provide actionable insights.
Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to help the regional team make informed pricing decisions.
Participation in interactions & negotiations with the local authorities and stakeholders
Support Pricing Lead EEI with the pricing projects.
Regular price and health care legislation monitoring.
Internal Collaboration
Development of Business Cases to decide on actions in the area of Market Access and pricing.
Strong collaboration with Commercial, Marketing and Sales teams to implement agreed strategy.
Proactive support of our business colleagues with product launches or with late life cycle management of products losing exclusivity.
Consulting of the finance department for forecasting purposes, pricing assumptions preparation.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
Master’s degree in life sciences, (para-)medical, economics
Minimum 1-3 years in the pharmaceutical industry
Proven track record in pharmaceutical market access and pricing
Experience in Marketing, Medical, Policy would be an asset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Entrepreneur mind set
Identifies opportunities for the Organon business, prioritizes them strategically and commercially
Demonstrate ability to work independently.
Proficient in using data analysis tools, such as Excel, and experience with pricing software is a plus
Language: Mother tongue or similar proficiency from one of the named countries. Fluent English.
