Product Manager, Surgical (UK & Ireland)

As a Product Manager, Surgical supporting the UK & Ireland Surgical Marketing Team, you will be trusted to lead portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and market preparation for next‑generation surgical technologies at UK & Ireland locations.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Collaborating with cross‑functional partners (Sales, Strategic Accounts, Medical, Regulatory) to solve market, customer, and competitive challenges
Leading end‑to‑end portfolio and brand strategy, including insights, segmentation, targeting, funnel planning, and KPI definition
Managing lifecycle, pricing, and promotional planning to drive year‑on‑year growth and ensure strong ROI
Developing and executing 360° marketing campaigns, including messaging, creative assets, digital content, and performance marketing initiatives
Using data analytics, CRM insights, and competitive intelligence to inform decisions, optimise performance, and identify new opportunities
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Science, or equivalent experience (MBA preferred)
Experience: Minimum 5 years in marketing and/or commercial roles, ideally within medical devices or ophthalmology
Technical Skills:
End‑to‑end marketing strategy and execution
Strong analytical capability (incl. Google Analytics, CRM, Salesforce dashboards)
Digital and performance marketing competency
Experience collaborating with agencies and cross‑functional teams
Behaviours:
Strong business acumen
Creativity and strategic thinking
Relationship building and influencing without authority
Results‑driven mindset with a track record of exceeding targets
High customer presence and ability to engage Key Opinion Leaders
