How you'll make an impact in this role
- Receive, inspect, and prioritize incoming shipments, ensuring rush orders are processed promptly and accurately.
- Verify delivered goods against packing slips and purchase orders, and record received inventory in departmental tracking systems.
- Process returns by preparing shipments and coordinating carrier pickups in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damaged goods, or other receiving-related issues to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure receiving dock while promoting safety and compliance with dock security procedures.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
