Chef De Partie | Wynyard Pavilion

We’re looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Wynyard Pavilion, right on the Auckland waterfront.

With a busy all-day operation, seasonal menus and a mix of dining, events and functions, this is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen and wants to be part of a strong team.

About the role

As a Chef de Partie, you’ll work closely with the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality food across service.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard
• Running your section efficiently during busy services
• Supporting the wider kitchen team when required
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
• Following food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures
• Assisting with prep, stock rotation and kitchen organisation
• Working collaboratively with the Sous Chef and Head Chef

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role
• Is confident working across a busy service
• Has strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Works well under pressure and stays calm during busy periods
• Takes pride in quality, consistency and presentation
• Is reliable, organised and team-focused
• Is keen to learn and develop their skills
