Job Summary
The Quality Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a team of quality engineers, supporting internal and external operations. This role will be tasked with identifying, resolving, and eliminating spacecraft and product manufacturing quality issues. You will be a key partner with engineering, manufacturing, and integration, driving the teams and the hardware to higher levels of reliability. This position will also be responsible for initiating corrective actions with our manufacturing and engineering teams.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Quality Engineers, developing and growing organization to support the dynamic needs of the business
Support day-to-day operations by assigning and delegating work across the team
Drive solutions to the biggest operational problems by leading root cause and corrective action investigations
Own resolution of Discrepancy Reports in operational areas, including suppliers
Partner closely with manufacturing, integration, supply chain, engineering, and program teams to promote safe, efficient, and reliable operational success
Develop and enforce quality requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle
Lead key Quality Management System activities, inclusive of internal audits, calibration management, nonconformance management, etc.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of relevant experience with an advanced degree
Working knowledge of a variety of design, fabrication, integration, and testing methodologies
Intermediate knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start is required.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Solid understanding of multiple root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
1+ years of experience in a leadership position with direct reports
Experience in the aerospace industry
Experience performing and applying statistical analysis methodologies
Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing, electromechanical assembly, propulsion production, structures fabrication, and vehicle integration and test
