Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

1\. Defines, tracks, monitors and reports OSAT Partners’ quality metric and performance

2\. Manages the Divisions’ expectation and communication (include feedback on customer’s queries)

3\. Performance reviews with OSAT partners

4\. Audit and visit

4-1 Lead on-site audit / visit from IFX customer, finding closure &improvement follow up

4-2 Lead on-site pre-audit prior to customer audit / visit

4-3 Lead yearly VDA 6.3 Audit

5\. FAR (customer complaint) management

5-1 Lead the 8D root cause finding and corrective/preventive actions

5-2 Review & buy off 8D report

5-3 Perform 8D committed action verification audit

5-4 Dispose arrangement with subcon if risk assessment or QMR is involved

6 Internal 8D management (Line disturbance)

6-1 Support the 8D root cause finding and corrective/preventive actions

6-2 MRB, Review & buyoff 8D, eg, scrap lot, dispose low yield lot, etc

6-3 Perform corrective actions verification audit

6-4 Risk management and QMR

7\. Zero Defect Program(CIP program)

7-1 Drive OSAT Partners to continuously improve the quality performance

7-2 Strive towards zero defect, no customer complaint

7-3 Fan out lesson learnt and best practices

7-4 Technical and Systemic root cause analysis and improvement actions

8\. New Supplier Enabling, Product & process Qualification, New Material Qualification, Change Management (AQE – Advance Quality Engineering)

8-1 Support enabling new OSAT partners, responsible for the Quality Work package

8-2 Involve in the project meeting and reviews (eg risk assessment(FMEA), milestone checklist and qualification result, 8D etc). Past experience from FAR, ORM failure, lesson learnt, line disturbance considered in the risk assessment.

8-3 Responsible for Safe launch plan

8-4 Ensure project requirement and compliance are in place (eg QTP, Production Process Flow and Control Plan, FMEA, milestone checklist fill up, ODR/handover checklist fill up, defect catalog updated etc)

8-5 Ensure the deviation from the Development process is documented

8-6 Support in development task forces and 8D if there is a qualification failure

8-7 Trigger early escalation and 8D/focus teams for process improvement

8-8 Lead on-site audit & verify production readiness

8-9 Perform audit to ensure line readiness

8-10 Lead customer audit if any

9\. ICO(wafer related quality issue) Management

9-1 Review with FE/SiFo on the wafer disposition and wafer return arrangement

9-2 Issue ICO to FE/SiFo on wafer defects detected at OSAT partners incoming

9-3 Incoming wafers and Finish Goods Logistic

9-4 Support incoming wafers and finish good logistic defect material disposition – broken/chipped wafer, broken label, duplicate label, etc -linked to internal 8D review

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Professionally trained in Engineering or quality with over 8 years of hands-on experience across subcons, design houses, and IDMs. Deeply experienced in roles covering MQA, SQE, CQE, PE, PD, and EE. Expert in quality and manufacturing standards such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, OCAP, 8D methodologies, CIP or QCC, MSA, and SPC. Possesses bilingual fluency in English for both spoken and written communication.
