Job Overview:
The Advisor Compensation Solution Professional will assist with inbound calls and partners with business units to research and solve issues and cases regarding compensation inquiries received via phone and email. This role assists with billing related items and in planning/supporting high impact projects and initiatives to ensure successful outcomes and results for our department and advisors.
Responsibilities:
- Handling and researching inquiries and requests through multiple contact points such as phone calls and email.
- First point of contact for assisting Advisors and their staff with inquiries and requests.
- Initiating outbound calls and emails to third-party sponsors and carriers to research commissions and trails.
- Supporting teammates and the department on other compensation tasks and activities.
- Sharing ideas to improve and enhance the advisor experience.

Requirements:
- 1+ years experience in customer service or comparable industry
Core Competencies:
- Excellent phone communication and listening skills with a focus on understanding each advisor’s unique needs
- Self-motivated and adaptive to a fast-paced, changing environment
- Organizational and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of the advisor role
Preferences:
- Experience within the financial services industry
- Experience supporting advisors and providing white glove service
- NICE phone system experience and working in high call volume environments
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables)
- Experience with tools such as Dynamics, Client Works, and Oracle would be a plus
- Varicent experience would be a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in finance
- SIE certification
