ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work independently to assume responsibility for ensuring all project’s technological requirements and/or objective are correctively gathered, understood, and properly translated/distributed for design team execution. 
• Responsible for recognizing project Key Success Indicators and managing the work within scope, quality, time and cost constraints. 
• Responsible for project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation 
• Responsible for facilitating communication as appropriate to all involved and “manage” the stakeholders. This includes escalating issues to the next level of management 
• Responsible for forecasting project budget and HR needs for current and future site needs 
• Accountable for overall project success-including cost, schedule, quality, and scope management 
• Accountable for BU/Customer satisfaction/relationship both internal and external 
• Form and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve company and customer objectives 
• Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately 
• Host meetings and conduct complex project status discussions with minimal supervision.
• Support other project managers in their work as needed, including assisting with the consolidation of budgets, plans, and human resources.
• Manage site and team operation such as office planning, maintenance, and relevant customer engagements, etc..

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Full knowledge of project management principles, fundamentals and knowledge areas.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile practices.
• Good understanding of product development and manufacturing processes including test validation.
• Experienced with key project management tools (ie. Microsoft Project) and requirements management tools.
• Competent in Budget planning, estimating, funding, managing, updating, reporting, and controlling costs so that the project can be completed within the approved budget.
• Strong technical background to recognize, assess and communicate cross-functional issues and risks.
• Manage projects in a stage-gate process.
• Awareness of industry or specific sector, regulatory and safety standards.
• Proficient in facilitating meetings, site operation activities.

 NON-TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Influence others and share best practices.
• Effectively communicate with good understanding of English and local language.
• Understand and meet customer needs and expectations.
• Work as part of a global team.
• Independently manage projects in a stage-gate process.
• Mentor junior project managers/assistants.
