IT Support Engineer (APAC)

For our group company, NKG Commercial Services Company Limited, we are looking for an IT Support Engineer (APAC) (f/m/d).
The position will be based in Ho Chi Minh City (An Khanh Ward) and reports directly to the IT Infrastructure Team Lead.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure Company users’ systems operate smoothly and in line with regulations.
• Identify, diagnose, and solve problems with the requirements of users of personal computers, computer software and hardware, Internet, and network access issues.
• Manage, operate & support the operation of control systems (CCTVs, alarms system, switchboards, ...).
• Perform maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting for computers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Provide end‑user support for the installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Monitor and coordinate timely repair, warranty services, and maintenance of PC equipment with third‑party vendors (Vendor Management).
• Installation, configuration, operation and further development of the group-wide server landscape
• Assist in conducting vulnerability scans, applying patches and supporting security audits.
• Regional Daily IT support for users
• IT infrastructure testing before upgrades and migration
• Creation and maintenance of systems documentation
• Participation in group-wide projects for the Asia Pacific zone
• Other tasks are assigned by superiors.

Your profile

• Minimum 02 years of relevant work experience is required
• English is a must (TOEIC or IELTS certificate is a plus), or any Asian language would be an asset
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or diploma/certificate) in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Certificate: CCNA, MCSA is a plus.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, HTTP/S) and IT security fundamentals
• Knowledge of firewall and network utilisation (FortiGate, Meraki, Cisco, Aruba, UniFi …)
• System management (Windows server, Office 365...)
• Virtualisation system (VMware vSphere/vCenter, Hyper-V, Microsoft Cloud Azure)
• Antivirus & Endpoint system (Symantec, Sentinel One, Acronis...)
• Telephone System (Avaya, Grand Stream...)
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment
• Independent and communication skills for supporting
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Willingness to travel (within the region)
