Infrastructure Engineer - Data Center

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer who can design, build, enhance, and integrate the technology infrastructure required to support various platforms and Wells Fargo's business portfolio.

In this role, you will:

• Support initiatives that deliver workable end to end infrastructure solutions

• Participate in test planning and execution

• Communicate with end users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates

• Design, build, enhance and integrate the infrastructure required to support various platforms and our business portfolio

• Troubleshoot and resolve tickets during implementation of store networks

• Troubleshoot and resolve first level network and wireless issues

• Present recommendations for resolving ticket requests, and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of the process, policies and risk controls

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

• Interact with internal customers

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience supporting technology at an enterprise-level Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations; including management​

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills​

• Proficiency with server, storage, mainframe and network hardware​

• Proficiency with Layer 1 Infrastructure deployments​

• Extensive knowledge of data center operations (space, power, cooling and network)​

• Precise attention to detail and strong organization skills​

​Job Expectations:

• Responsible for Asset management that includes inventory management, ordering, shipping and receiving​

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled​

• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment​

• Must be able to lift 50lbs
