General Summary:
Responsible for DTP-related engineering operations and logistics activities, from planning through execution and completion. Collaborate with customs, import/export, tax, and finance teams to support engineer’s DTP needs in China.
- Manage and track all temporarily imported devices and products through to return, in compliance with radio regulatory restrictions.
- Coordinate with SD/TDC on DTPs and accessories delivery planning.
- Raise internal orders to proceed DTPs and accessories from SD/TDC to China.
- Support import processes for DTPs and accessories, including material status verification upon arrival.
- Manage shipments between Qualcomm sites and third-party manufacturer.
- Handle receipt of assembled DTPs at Qualcomm offices and coordinate re-allocation to other BUs across Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and etc.
- Drive tariff mitigation efforts for all imported DTPs and accessories, where applicable.
Qualifications:
- 4–5+ years of full-time working experience; prior experience in related industries such as mobile, telecommunications, or IT systems is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership; able to take on additional responsibilities, work under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
