DBI Construction Consultants is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who knows that great hiring is a combination of strategy, relationship-building, and hustle. This person will help us attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent while providing a white-glove candidate experience that is organized, caring and genuinely personal. What You’ll Do
Strategic Partner
- Represent DBI Consultants and build relationships at the intersection of Construction and Insurance industries
- Partner with leadership to understand team needs and build smart hiring strategies
- Advise hiring teams on interview best practices, market trends, and talent availability
- Deliver an outstanding candidate experience from origination through onboarding
Talent Acquisition Expert
- Own full-cycle recruiting for a range of entry-level, professional, and leadership roles
- Source top talent through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, events, and other creative channels
- Review resumes and conduct phone screens to evaluate skills, experience, and overall fit
- Coordinate and manage interview processes from kickoff to offer, keeping things smooth, timely, and organized
- Track recruiting activity and use data to improve time-to-fill, quality of hire, and process efficiency
Entry-Level Program Management
- Design and execute a college hiring strategy with local alumni/representatives
- Lead an established, best-in-class internship program to pipeline future entry-level hiring
- Make DBI Consultants an employer of choice at target schools across the U.S.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, Communications, or similar required or commensurate additional years’ full time experience in lieu of a 4-year degree.
- 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, ideally in a fast-paced, national environment
- Proven success managing full-cycle recruiting across a dozen roles concurrently while managing college relations as a program
- Experience in the Construction or Property Insurance industries preferred
- Experience with Workday Recruiting or similar ATS software preferred
- Strong sourcing skills and confidence engaging passive building consultant candidates
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates and stakeholders alike
- Strong project management instincts with the ability to stay organized, prioritize well, and keep momentum moving
- A collaborative, proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in an evolving environment
NYC-Based
This position is based out of our headquarters in Herald Square, New York City. We believe in-person office work is the foundation for strong relationships and taking care of one another. Our office is outfitted with an open floor layout, a well-stocked kitchen, relaxed living room aka “the jungle”, and diverse often updated playlists.
The starting salary range will be $80,000 - $120,000 plus twice annual bonus potential. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including but not limited to an individual’s qualifications, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
