WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Application Administrator your primary responsibly is to manage, optimize and maintain enterprise (business) application software for the AVI-SPL organization. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all software operations, ensuring that applications align with business processes while supporting organizational growth initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams – including Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance and HR to design workflows, manage user access, build custom reports, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure maximum system efficiency. In addition, you will partner with other members of the IT organization including business analysts, software engineers, and other platform managers to ensure optimal utilization of our applications.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across multiple geographies (including India and Canada) to document and analyze business requirements for NetSuite.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom scripts (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0), workflows, and integrations within NetSuite.
- Perform testing, debugging, configuration (as needed) and documentation activities during development and planned in-place upgrades.
- Provide technical expertise and support to end-users and stakeholders, assisting with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Conduct system maintenance, including upgrades, patches, and enhancements in accordance with best practices and business needs.
- Design, build, and test automated business workflows using built-in workflow tools.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and customizations.
- Maintain and update core system configurations, forms, fields, custom records, and general ledger settings.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and implement optimizations as needed
- Troubleshoot system errors, resolve user helpdesk tickets, and coordinate with the software platform provider for platform bugs.
- Keep up to date with latest application features, functionalities, and industry trends
- Other duties include but are not limited to:
- User Management: Provision user accounts, manage custom roles, assign permissions, and conduct regular security access audits.
- Data Integrity: Monitor data imports, perform regular data cleansing, and manage data migration tasks.
- Reporting & Analytics: Create, modify, and maintain complex Saved Searches, KPIs, dashboards, and financial reports.
- Release Management: Test business processes during platform upgrades and manage the sandbox environment.
- Training & Documentation: Develop internal training materials and provide hands-on guidance to onboarding users.
- Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
- 5-7+ years of experience in NetSuite development and administration with minimum 3-5 years of professional hands-on experience with NetSuite platform administration including configurations, integrations, data model, report development, and in-place upgrades.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience with IT applications.
- Certified as a NetSuite Foundational Specialist.
- Strong proficiency in SuiteScript (JavaScript), SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics.
- Experience with NetSuite ERP modules (Finance, Inventory, CRM).
- Solid understanding of integration technologies (REST, SOAP, APIs).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Clear and professional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization leveraging direct, clear and confident communication.
- Ability to work with and manage stakeholders across the globe.
- Stable presence with strong judgment and decision-making quality.

- Two-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
Nice-To-Haves:
- Certified as a NetSuite Administrator Professional.
- Certified as a NetSuite BI and Saved Searches Professional.
- Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field is preferred.
- ITIL Certification
