Join DayOne – Shaping the Future of Data Infrastructure
DayOne is a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centers. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, we’ve built a robust presence across Asia and Europe — and we’re just getting started.
As we expand into new international markets, we’re looking for talented, driven individuals to join us on this exciting journey. This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.
If you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne’s next chapter.
About DayOne
DayOne builds and operates hyperscale data centers across nine markets in APAC and Europe. We raised US$4.5B in Series C funding and are in active build across the region. As DayOne's footprint grows across Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, the client relationships behind that infrastructure need the same level of accountability as the build itself — this role owns that.
Across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Hong Kong, DayOne operates some of the region's most active hyperscale campuses — from Johor's largest LEED-certified data center footprint to Thailand's build toward its first 1GW platform. This role can be based in any of these markets, working alongside local delivery teams on live client accounts.
About the Role
You'll combine hands-on software development, enterprise integration and technical support across our Digital Transformation platforms. Your initial focus will be supporting the CSP platform and implementing a customer relationship management (CRM) solution for CS. You'll progressively bring together customer, service and operational information to build Customer 360 capabilities.
Beyond the initial CS implementation, you'll help extend the CRM platform to other business functions and connect it with the wider enterprise ecosystem. The roadmap includes internal digital solutions, process automation and, over time, approved artificial intelligence (AI) and analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities
Support and Improve CSP
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve CSP Level 2 (L2) incidents, perform initial technical and root cause analysis, and monitor recurring issues.
- Identify improvements and automation opportunities to address recurring CSP issues.
- Escalate issues requiring code changes or deeper intervention to Level 3 (L3), where the Information Technology (IT)/Software Engineering team can resolve them.
Implement CRM and Build Customer 360
- Develop, configure, integrate, test and enhance the CRM solution to meet CS business and operational needs.
- Lead technical workshops, system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the CRM solution against CS requirements.
- Consolidate relevant customer, service and operational information to progressively build Customer 360 capabilities.
- Establish a scalable CRM platform that can support wider enterprise requirements beyond CS.
Connect Business Functions and Digital Platforms
- Extend CRM capabilities after the initial CS implementation to support business requirements in functions such as Billing and Procurement.
- Develop workflows and integrations across CRM, CSP, Security, Operations and enterprise systems to improve cross-functional information flow.
- Integrate utilization, consumption, customer and service information, memos, notifications and other relevant operational data to improve information flow and reduce fragmented processes.
- Represent Digital Transformation in cross-department projects to address integration needs involving these platforms.
- Support longer-term integration with the SAP S/4HANA enterprise platform to enable relevant enterprise processes and data exchange.
Develop Internal Solutions and Automation
- Build internal applications, workflows and digital solutions for CS, digitalizing and automating manual processes where applicable.
- Enhance existing solutions to meet evolving business and operational needs.
- Integrate CRM with call center and customer service solutions to consolidate customer interactions and service information.
Contribute to the Future AI and Analytics Roadmap
- Explore AI-assisted customer service, knowledge management, automation and analytics to identify use cases for the future roadmap.
- Develop proofs of concept to evaluate AI use cases, and integrate approved capabilities into CRM and other Digital Transformation solutions.
- Use consolidated CRM and enterprise data to support future analytics, automation and AI use cases where appropriate.
Requirements
Technical Skills
Hands-on technical capability in:
- Backend development: Java and Spring Boot.
- Frontend development: React and Next.js.
- Identity and access management: Keycloak, including multi-tenancy.
- Databases: Structured Query Language (SQL) and database management.
- Integration: Representational State Transfer (REST) application programming interfaces (APIs), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), authentication and enterprise integration.
- Microsoft platforms: Power Apps, Power Automate and the Power BI business intelligence platform.
- Cloud and delivery: Git, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and relevant cloud and deployment knowledge.
You'll also bring strong troubleshooting, debugging and incident analysis skills, with an understanding of system architecture, integration patterns, authentication and authorization, and multi-tenant application design.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to enterprise applications and SAP integration to support the longer-term roadmap
