Job Description

As a Digital Transformation Engineer at Micron, you will build, document, deploy, and maintain innovative digital solutions. These solutions improve operational workflows and speed up business transformation.

You will develop enterprise applications, AI-enabled solutions, intelligent automation systems, and data-driven platforms that support engineers' daily work through analytics, visualization, workflow automation, forecasting techniques, and AI-powered decision support.

You need to demonstrate functional and technical skills necessary to work across multiple development technologies, including modern web development, data engineering, automation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. You will collaborate with various roles and teams throughout Micron’s ecosystem to build and implement scalable solutions that deliver business value and support Micron's digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Gather customer requirements and understand business impact.
• Develop responsive web interfaces for data visualization and user interaction.
• Develop and sustain databases for data collection, integration, and analytics.
• Design software solutions and deploy applications across the Micron network.
• Develop AI-powered applications using Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and enterprise AI platforms.
• Build and maintain AI Agents, Copilot Agents, and AI Assistants to improve operational efficiency and knowledge accessibility.
• Integrate AI capabilities with automation platforms such as UiPath and Power Automate to streamline business processes.
• Implement machine learning models, predictive analytics, and intelligent decision-support solutions.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions applying enterprise knowledge and manufacturing data.
• Offer detailed work estimates and implementation plans.
• Stay in touch with leadership teams and collaborators.
• Support user acceptance testing.
• Follow established version control and deployment practices.
• Create and maintain supporting documentation.
• Evaluate new technologies and find opportunities to bring to bear AI and automation for business value creation.

Qualifications:

• Superb communication and problem-solving skills are required.
• Experience with full-stack web system design and implementation is required.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, etc.) is required.
• Experience with software development using Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Knowledge of API integration, system architecture, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Plus:

• Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, deep learning, and predictive analytics.
• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, or Microsoft Copilot development.
• Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with RPA development (UiPath, Power Automate, etc.).
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, smart factory, or digital transformation initiatives.
