We are proud of:
- The work we do and the innovation we drive

- Our borderless, global framework, which enables seamless collaboration
The role
As an IT Engineer | Operations, you will take ownership of second-line IT support and the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our IT environment across Windows, macOS, and Linux. You will work hands-on with endpoint management, Microsoft 365, identity and access management, infrastructure, and automation to ensure reliable and secure IT services across our organization.
What will you do?
- IT Operations & Troubleshooting: Handle second-line support and escalate incidents, troubleshoot complex endpoints, operating system, application, network, and access issues, and drive problems through resolution.
- Endpoint & Identity Management: Manage the lifecycle of Windows and macOS devices, administer Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID, and manage user accounts, permissions, authentication, and access.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Administer Microsoft 365 services, including users, groups, licenses, permissions, and collaboration tools.
- Infrastructure & Connectivity: Support Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, cloud-based services, and network connectivity, working with specialist teams and vendors when needed.
- Server and virtualization: Windows and Linux server administration and virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Cloud administration: Cloud platforms management such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Automation & Continuous Improvement: Use PowerShell and other scripting tools to automate repetitive tasks, resolve recurring issues, and improve operational efficiency.
- Security & Documentation: Apply security and least-privilege principles, follow incident and change-management processes, and maintain clear technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Collaboration & Projects: Contribute to IT projects, system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations while sharing knowledge with colleagues across local and international teams.
Who are you?
You are a hands-on IT professional with at least 3 years of practical experience in IT Operations, System Administration, or a similar technical infrastructure role. You can independently investigate technical issues, administer IT systems, and take ownership of problems from initial diagnosis through to resolution.
You bring practical experience in the following areas:
- Endpoint management: Administering and troubleshooting Windows and macOS devices, including provisioning, configuration, patching, and software deployment.
- Identity & Microsoft 365: Working with Active Directory and/or Entra ID, user and access administration, authentication, permissions, and Microsoft 365 services.
- IT support & troubleshooting: Handling escalated incidents involving operating systems, applications, hardware, user access, and network connectivity.
- Networking fundamentals: Troubleshooting TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN connectivity issues.
- Scripting & automation: Using PowerShell or another scripting language to automate administrative tasks and improve IT processes.
- IT service management: Working with an ITSM platform, ticketing system, and structured incident, request, and change-management processes.
In addition, you:
- Have a security-conscious mindset and understand access control, least privilege, and the importance of reliable IT operations.
- Can prioritize incidents and tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with technical teams, service desk colleagues, and external vendors.
- Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, in an international working environment.
- Take initiative, document your work, and look for lasting solutions rather than repeatedly fixing the same issues.
It would be an advantage if you also have experience with:
- CI/CD pipelines and collaboration with development or DevOps teams.
- Using AI tools responsibly to support troubleshooting, scripting, documentation, and IT automation.
If you do not meet all the listed qualifications or have gaps in your experience, we still encourage you to apply. At Valtech, we recognize that talent comes in many forms, and we value diverse perspectives and a willingness to learn.
