Demand Planning Analyst (Industrial Engineer)

Job Summary

The Industrial Engineer / Demand Planning Analyst will be responsible for analyzing demand and inventory requirements, preparing forecasts, developing process flows, and coordinating closely with the sales team to ensure that customer orders are properly planned and delivered on time.

The role requires a strong analytical and process-oriented individual who can use data to support inventory and demand planning decisions. Knowledge of feed products and their shelf life is important for effective inventory planning and minimizing excess or aging inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on sales requirements, historical data, inventory levels, and business
• needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend appropriate inventory requirements based on projected demand.
• Coordinate closely with the Sales Team to understand customer requirements, upcoming orders, and changes in demand.
• Support the planning and availability of products to ensure timely and on-time delivery of customer orders.
• Monitor inventory movement, stock levels, and product aging to support efficient inventory management.
• Checking the shelf life of feed products when planning inventory and product requirements.
• Develop and improve process flows related to demand planning, inventory management, order fulfillment, and other
• operational processes.
• Analyze data and identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and inventory utilization.
• Utilize SAP for relevant inventory, planning, and operational activities.
• Utilize QuickBooks for relevant business and inventory-related information, as needed.
• Develop reports and dashboards to provide visibility on inventory, demand, forecasting, and order fulfillment.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support inventory and demand planning decisions.
• Work with the Sales Team and other departments to identify and address potential inventory or supply issues.
• Ensure planning reports and relevant data are accurate and updated on time.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives involving processes, inventory, forecasting, and order fulfillment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering, demand planning, inventory management, supply
• planning, or a related function.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Exposure to Power BI is an advantage, particularly in creating dashboards and reports.
• Experience in demand planning and forecasting.
• Knowledge of inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Experience in process flow development and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, particularly when working with the Sales Team.
• Knowledge of feed products is highly preferred.
• Understanding of feed product shelf life, approximately six months, is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working with data to support business and inventory decisions.
• Willing to be assigned in Cebu but willing to travel as well
