Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Retail Centers Patrol Driver Customer Care in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. - Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking structures, exterior walkways, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services as directed by site procedures.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas; observe visitor and vehicle activity; and document incidents, observations, and daily activities through clear written reports.
- Help maintain a welcoming retail environment by providing directions, assisting with lost-property procedures, and communicating professionally with onsite management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
