Credit & Collections Coordinator I

Job Summary

Performs routine credit and collections activities while supporting customer account management and repayment processes. Applies working knowledge of established procedures to resolve straightforward issues and maintain account accuracy. Operates with moderate supervision while developing functional expertise.

 

Job Responsibilities

• Arrears and Debt Recovery - Communicate with clients regarding repayments in accordance with established repayment schedules to maximize income received.
• Data Collection and Analysis - Perform basic data entry tasks.
• Record Keeping - Record actions, activities, and basic information immediately in straightforward systems, in accordance with instructions and well-defined processes, so that information is accessible and can be checked.
• Resolving Customer Issues - Respond to basic customer issues, such as returns.
• Internal Communications - Exchange information with people by having courteous interactions with them.
• Financial Management and Control - Enter data into standard company systems, and review and verify it for accuracy.
• Personal Capability Building - Develop and maintain excellent skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
• Operational Compliance - Follow a straightforward mandatory procedure to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• With at least 6 months relevant work experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
