Salary Range: Up to ₱60,000

The role
The Fixed Assets Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and timely accounting and reporting of fixed assets, ensuring compliance with Corporate Accounting Policies and applicable US GAAP and Local GAAP/IFRS requirements. This role will work closely with the Fixed Assets team and cross-functional stakeholders to manage asset capitalization, depreciation, transfers, adjustments, and other fixed asset accounting activities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate accounting records for fixed assets in accordance with Corporate Accounting Policies.
- Record and capitalize fixed assets based on approved CAPEX investment budgets, ensuring proper cost center allocation and asset classification.
- Ensure Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) adjustments are properly aligned with US GAAP push-down entries.
- Ensure depreciation is accurately and consistently recorded in accordance with US GAAP and Local GAAP requirements.
- Process and record fixed asset transfers accurately and in a timely manner under both US GAAP and Local GAAP.
- Perform reconciliation and review of fixed asset accounts and investigate discrepancies as necessary.
- Support period-end closing activities and ensure fixed asset balances and transactions are properly reflected in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure proper documentation, controls, and accounting treatment of fixed asset transactions.
- Identify opportunities to improve fixed asset accounting processes through automation and process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable financial reporting standards.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Fixed Assets Accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0 Fixed Assets (FI-AA) module is required.
- Excellent understanding of Property, Plant and Equipment (PP&E) / Fixed Assets Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, particularly as they relate to fixed assets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other automation or process improvement tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
- Highly organized, resourceful, self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work with a strong sense of urgency.
