As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility - Overnight Shift in Lees Summit, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to facility needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare facility policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document and report incidents, observations, hazards, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
