Job Title – Sales Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead business development and sales operations for automotive spare parts across the UAE and regional markets. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the customer base, managing key accounts, and developing high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the automotive aftermarket industry with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer network across distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and fleet customers.
- Develop annual sales plans, forecasts, and market expansion strategies.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, dealers, workshops, and trading companies.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and supply contracts.
- Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive service and after-sales support.
Sales Operations
- Lead the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order fulfilment and payment collection.
- Monitor sales performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely product availability and deliveries.
- Resolve customer issues related to product availability, pricing, deliveries, and warranty claims.
Product & Market Development
- Promote the company's automotive spare parts portfolio across passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, and industrial applications.
- Identify opportunities to introduce new products based on customer demand and market trends.
- Conduct product presentations and training sessions for customers and distributors.
- Gather customer feedback to support product development and market positioning.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Set sales objectives, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Provide coaching on negotiation techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management.
- Foster a performance-driven and customer-focused sales culture.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, and revenue projections.
- Monitor gross margins, pricing strategies, and profitability.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain healthy receivable levels.
- Prepare regular sales reports and business performance updates for senior management.
Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and customer information within CRM systems.
- Work closely with procurement, marketing, finance, and operations teams to support business objectives.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, and industry networking events.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in automotive spare parts sales, with at least 3–5 years in a sales leadership role.
- Strong experience in the automotive aftermarket, spare parts distribution, or OEM parts business.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing strategic customer relationships.
- Good understanding of automotive components, supply chain operations, and regional automotive markets.
- UAE driving licence is highly preferred.
