The Material Planning & Scheduling Professional plays a critical role in advancing Materials Management performance through standardization, analytics, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the SSA Services Manager – Materials Management, this position partners closely with regional and product line teams to define, deploy, and sustain Material Planning & Scheduling (MPS) processes across SSA for the Drilling Services Product Line, supporting Product Line commitments for 2026 and beyond.

As a Material Planning & Scheduling Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Lead analysis and improvement of Material Planning & Scheduling processes to reduce operational constraints and support Product Line performance commitments.
- Drive the definition, implementation, and governance of standardized MPS processes aligned with enterprise systems (APT, SAP, GPS) across SSA sites.
- Develop and maintain digital planning tools, dashboards, and reports using Power BI, databases, and visual analytics to enhance visibility, predictability, and decision‑making.
- Enable sustained reduction in Waiting on Parts (WOP) through improved planning accuracy, proactive risk identification, and close collaboration with Operations and Asset teams.
- Support asset utilization improvement initiatives by ensuring material readiness and effective alignment between planning, execution, and asset deployment.
- Contribute to inventory optimization and working‑capital improvement initiatives in line with Product Line and regional commitments.
- Partner with key stakeholders (Regional MPS, Asset, Operations, AMO, and Product Line Headquarters teams) to support change management, standard adoption, and data‑driven decisions.
- Translate complex planning, inventory, and performance data into clear visual summaries for operational, regional, and leadership reviews.
- Track and report process performance, ensuring continuous improvement toward Product Line targets and long‑term sustainability.

To be successful in this role, you must:
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Have 10 years of experience in Material Planning and Scheduling, preferably within oil & gas or a large‑scale, asset‑intensive manufacturing or services environment.
- Have strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and material planning/inventory management processes.
- Experience with Drilling Services tools, equipment, and operational workflows
Required Skills & Competencies
- Have strong analytical and digital capability, including hands‑on experience building dashboards and analytical tools using Power BI, databases, and visualization techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to apply data and planning insights to support WOP reduction, asset utilization improvement, and inventory optimization, aligned with Product Line objectives.
- Effective collaborator with the ability to influence decisions across cross‑functional, matrix organizations.
- Results‑oriented mindset with strong execution focus, urgency, and accountability.
- Ability to lead and sustain change initiatives in a fast‑paced operational environment.
