Description
As the Director of Operations, you are the strategic leader managing all day-to-day operations of our 5-star luxury resort. Serving as the General Manager’s primary second-in-command, you will oversee the seamless execution of guest experiences, property maintenance, and financial performance across all operational departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Resort Oversight
- Act as the primary deputy to the General Manager, assuming full operational and decision-making responsibility for the resort in the GM’s absence.
- Synchronize the operational strategy across all 9 reporting departments to ensure compliance with 5-star luxury standards (e.g., Forbes Travel Guide, Leading Hotels of the World).
- Drive resort profitability by maximizing revenue, managing labor efficiency, and controlling operational expenses across all divisions.

Rooms & Guest Experience: Front Office, Housekeeping, and Laundry. Maintain flawless resort aesthetics, strict inventory control, and personalized guest arrival/departure experiences.

Food & Beverage (F&B) & Culinary: F&B Outlets and Kitchen. Leverage your deep F&B background to elevate our culinary identity, drive high-margin banqueting/outlet revenue, and maintain strict food safety and cost controls.

Wellness & Leisure: Spa and Recreation. Oversee luxury wellness programming, guest activities, and spa profitability.

Support & Safety: Engineering and Security. Partner with the Chief Engineer on preventative asset maintenance and capital expenditure (CapEx) planning. Ensure the absolute safety, privacy, and physical security of guests and assets.
- Analyze guest feedback (Net Promoter Scores, online reviews, guest comment cards) to identify trends and implement immediate corrective actions.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor during peak operational hours to interface with VIP guests and handle complex service recovery situations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum of 5–7 years of executive operational leadership in Food & Beverage within a 5-star luxury resort or high-end international hotel brand.

Mandatory Domain Expertise: A progressive career history rooted in Food & Beverage management (e.g., former Director of F&B ) within luxury environments.
- Proven track record of managing massive, multi-department operational scopes, including complex non-rooms divisions like Spa, Engineering, and Security.
- Deep understanding of luxury hospitality operational metrics, P&L management, and budgeting.
- Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to inspire, mentor, and hold department heads accountable.
