TAM is a division within Aegon Asset Management. The opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Denver, CO. This is a hybrid role, with an in-office presence two days per week and the flexibility to work remotely three days per week. In this role, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to business leaders, partnering with managers to drive talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement initiatives. You will play a critical role in aligning HR strategies with business priorities to support revenue growth and long term organizational success.
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with functional leadership teams to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives, revenue growth, and a high performance culture.
Leadership Development & Coaching: Provide targeted coaching to senior leaders to build leadership effectiveness, resilience, and change leadership capability, enabling leaders to successfully navigate complex business challenges.
Organizational Design: Advise on workforce planning, organizational structure, change initiatives, and reorganizations to ensure the organization has the right talent, skills, and capabilities aligned to business needs.
Talent Management: Partner with leadership to identify critical talent needs; drive succession planning, leadership development, and retention strategies to ensure a strong and diverse talent pipeline.
Performance Management: Lead and oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to drive individual and team effectiveness.
Employee Relations: Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution, while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Total Rewards: Advise leaders on Total Rewards programs and compensation practices, ensuring alignment with performance, market competitiveness, and organizational objectives.
Change Management: Support and guide leaders through change initiatives, enabling effective adoption of new structures, processes, and ways of working.
Employee Engagement: Champion initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, inclusion and diversity, well being, and overall employee experience to enhance morale, productivity, and retention.
Required Qualifications:
Related degree or equivalent professional experience.
Solid knowledge of HR business trends and objectives.
Clear understanding of the business environment, preferably in asset management.
Interpersonal and relationship building skills to coach and influence staff and management at all levels.
Willingness to engage in change and challenge the status quo.
Flexibility to handle change and change processes in a fast-faced environment.
Strategic mindset with critical thinking skills to resolve problems and recommend solutions.
Knowledge of Workday or other HRIS tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of eight (8) years' HR generalist experience
Experience supporting a remote, geographically diverse, distribution and sales team.

The salary for this position generally ranges between $102,000 - $120,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, the position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan / Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
