Team Description:
Within GP, the Procurement Transformation & Remediation (T&R) team underpins and enables the ambitions of GP through partnering and strong alignment across the function to deliver transformation, defining learning & development and unlocking value creation.
The Process Orchestrator project is a transformation programme delivered by T&R to redesign the end-to-end procurement journey and deliver the target-state process and technology needed to address current process pain points. It brings together process and control redesign, intelligent intake management, workflow orchestration, data foundations, reporting, chatbot-enabled support and operations automation, with the aim of creating a single front door for procurement demand, clearer routing and triage, improved end-to-end visibility, stronger auditability, and a more joined-up user experience across downstream procurement processes.
The PMO Manager is responsible for enabling effective delivery governance across the Process Orchestrator programme by maintaining the programme delivery framework, integrated plan, standards and reporting required to support day-to-day execution. The role provides a decision-enabling and delivery support structure across business design, platform configuration and release planning, with a focus on milestone tracking, dependency management, risk and issue management, and transparent reporting to support effective programme delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the integrated delivery plan, ensuring milestones, dependencies and key delivery activities are clearly tracked.
- Coordinate delivery activity across business design, platform configuration, testing and release planning workstreams.
- Manage programme dependencies, risks, actions, issues and decisions, ensuring owners, actions and due dates are clear.
- Track progress against agreed milestones and provide clear delivery reporting for programme governance forums.
- Coordinate delivery forums, capture actions and follow up with business, product, technology and implementation teams.
Skills:
- Proven delivery management experience in complex business-led technology transformation programmes.
- Strong capability in planning, milestone tracking, dependency management and risk, action, issue and decision management.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional delivery across product, process, technology and implementation teams.
- Clear communicator with experience preparing concise programme reporting and senior stakeholder updates.
- Structured and disciplined delivery mindset, with the ability to drive actions, resolve blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
