Essential Capabilities:
•Proficiency in ABAP, including object-oriented ABAP, SAP Fiori, UI5 and oData development
•Understanding of SAP modules like Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Human Resources (HR), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials Management (MM)
•Identify and resolve errors in ABAP code
•Understands and uses the ABAP Dictionary for data definitions , Familiar with CDS and for creating data models and views , extends SAP applications with custom code and integrations , Familiar with ABAP RAP , and ABAP Development tools
•Build batch scheduling in a highly complex integrated environment with ControlM,, SAP CPI etc.
•Requirements – Support SAP Functional consultant and business to finalise detailed requirements
•Scoping and Estimation – Provide SAP technical inputs into High Level and/or Detailed Level cost/effort estimation
•SAP Development - Develop code for SAP in accordance with defined ABAP/development standards. Peer review of code. Development work allocation/coordination withing development team.
•SAP Security - Incorporate security setup into code. Work with SAP security and SAP basis as part of the development process.
•Testing – Perform unit testing of code. Support during subsequent testing phases, ie. ST, SIT, UAT, etc. Code optimisation and performance tuning.
•Deployment – Support migration/cutover phases. Handover of code to BaU teams. Technical verification testing and hypercare support.
•Support - Incident resolution and code optimisation. Code impact assessment as part of annul support pack and country legal change implementations

•Ability to investigate, analyse and provide service improvement recommendations for consideration
•Ability to provide knowledge transfer to team members to enable on-going support and train end users
•Able to work effectively in a team with technology partners, located onshore/offshore, providing leadership and extensive expertise in optimising delivery models.
•Identification, creation/building of solutions/tools/methods to dramatically shorten the build/test phase of implementations
Experience :
It is expected that the role holder will most likely have the following experience:
•SAP ABAP design and development expertise (5-7 years)
•SAP Fiori, UI5 and oData development expertise (5-7 years)
•Successfully completed multiple implementations as SAP Technical Developer
•Experience in building batch scheduling in a highly complex integrated environment with ControlM, SAP CPI etc.
•SAP Portal Development experience preferred
•Exposure to and understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS etc.)
•Experience in building of integrations to on premise and cloud-based applications using different integration patterns.
•Exposure to automation/productivity tools such as Selenium, Winshuttle, Auto SDK, Pega
•Experience in an onshore/offshore delivery model
•Possess a strong understanding of SAP ABAP, Security and Basis, as well as the overall SAP landscape •Experienced in IT Service management including risk management
•Solid understanding of current and emerging SAP technology trends around SAP BTP
•Previous experience in the Financial Services industry is highly regarded
Qualification Requirements
•Degree or tertiary education in Technology/Computing
•Certifications in SAP desirable
