2D Artist

We are looking for a talented and creative 2D Artist to join our gaming team. The ideal candidate should have experience in creating game-ready art, UI/UX, live ops content, animations, VFX, and marketing creatives for mobile games. This role requires close collaboration with game designers, developers, and marketing teams to deliver engaging player experiences and visually appealing game content.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D game assets, environments, icons, and illustrations for mobile games.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing game UI/UX elements, menus, HUDs, and user flows.
• Develop Live Ops content including events, seasonal assets, offers, popups, and in-game promotional visuals.
• Create and export 2D animations using Spine, After Effects, and Unity.
• Design and implement stylized VFX for gameplay, rewards, transitions, and UI interactions using Spine, After Effects, and Unity.
• Assemble and integrate UI screens, popups, and assets inside Unity.
• Create basic 3D block outs/mockups and overpaint them into polished 2D game art.
• Use Figma for UI layouts, wireframes, and design collaboration.
• Utilize AI generation tools to support ideation, concept generation, and production efficiency.
• Design ASO assets including app icons, screenshots, feature graphics, and store creatives.
• Create UA static creatives for paid marketing campaigns and social media ads.
• Ensure consistency of visual quality, style, and branding across the game and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Development, Animation, and Marketing.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in 2D Game Arts
• Strong portfolio showcasing mobile game art, UI/UX, animations, and marketing creatives.
• Proficiency in: Adobe Photoshop, Spine, After Effects, Unity, Figma
• Good understanding of mobile game art pipelines and production workflows.
• Experience with animation principles and stylized VFX creation.
• Familiarity with live ops content production for mobile games.
• Basic understanding of 3D blocking workflows and paint-over techniques.
• Knowledge of ASO and user acquisition creative production.
• Experience using AI tools for art workflows is a plus.
• Strong communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced game production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on casual, puzzle, arcade, or hybrid-casual mobile games.
• Understanding of player engagement and monetization-driven visuals.
• Ability to adapt to different game art styles quickly.
