Department Overview

At Motorola Solutions, our technologies support public safety agencies and enterprises worldwide. When a crisis hits, our ASTRO 25 communication network is the mission-critical lifeline that first responders rely on. We are looking for an engineer to help us build the computing platforms that keep those systems running.

Job Description

The successful candidate will join our Transport team responsible for preparing and maintaining IP network configurations for a large-scale telecommunications system.
We work closely with networking equipment vendors, including HPE, Juniper, and Fortinet.

Basic Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in IT, Telecommunications, Electronics, Automation and Robotics, Physics, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of networking protocols and concepts, including TCP/IP, multicast, routing (OSPF, BGP, PIM), firewalls (L3, L7), switching (STP), DNS, and PKI.
• Problem-Solving: An analytical mindset with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Communication: Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
• Core Attributes: Self-driven, detail-oriented, and highly motivated.
