Trust Officer

We are looking for a Trust Officer for an important group in Geneva.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, that includes companies, trusts, and other institutions with international orientations.
• Make sure compliance concerning financial, regulatory and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with tax and legal advisors to restructure and implement fiduciary solutions.
• Prepare corporate files like trust deeds, resolutions, loan agreements and powers of attorney for Trust and Corporate.
• Overlook accounting processes, such as financial statement.
• Maintain accuracy records and files for all clients.
• Act as first contact for clients, bankers, and other parties.
• Provide assistance to the Legal and Compliance Office maintaining process regarding compliance.
• Ensure the updates with industry trends and best tendencies.
• Ensure quality of internal controls and risk management.

 

Requirements:

• LLB or higher degree in law, economics or a related field.
• TEP or on going qualification; UK common law legal, tax expertise is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a trust company or equivalent.
• Important organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, with native-level proficiency in written French and English; any other language is a plus
• A collaborative and professional vision with a commitment to best practices.
• Ability to work with independence, prioritizing tasks effectively and meet with deadlines.
