Description
Responsible for instructing, supervising, and testing participants in community based sports programs. Under the direction of the Sports Coordinator.Develop and instruct class material appropriate to the course description. Provides a safe environment for all participants. Attends scheduled meetings as required. Responsible for preparation for program activities and preparation of lesson plans.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Ability to understand basic sports teaching methods; adjust class direction depending on ability level; communicate effectively with all participants; establish and maintain effective working techniques.
EDUCATION:
- Current CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment. Previous teaching / coaching experience in specific sports preferred.
