The Team Leader CTC combines hands-on expertise in Customer-to-Cash (CTC) operations with team leadership responsibilities. This role oversees cash applications, credit, and collections activities, ensuring efficient service delivery, timely cash collection, and achievement of DSO targets while leading and developing a small team. The role also focuses on process improvement, risk management, compliance, and collaboration with stakeholders to support overall business performance.
How you will contribute
- Lead and manage a small Credit-to-Cash (CTC) team while maintaining responsibility for an assigned operational portfolio.
- Oversee cash applications, credit, and collections activities to ensure timely cash collection and achievement of DSO and overdue targets.
- Manage customer credit limits, credit blocks, and risk exposure in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
- Resolve operational issues, address team challenges, and proactively escalate business or performance risks when required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOX requirements, internal controls, and audit standards.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and providing timely responses to audit requests.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve customer and process issues while enhancing service delivery.
- Monitor process performance, analyze operational metrics, and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach, develop, and support team members through regular feedback, training, and performance management to ensure high productivity and quality standards.
What You Will Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in Accounting, Shared Services, or Credit-to-Cash (CTC) operations, including 3-6 years of people management experience.
- Lead and supervise a small CTC team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, operational excellence, and achievement of business objectives.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management support to team members, fostering professional growth, engagement, and collaboration.
- Analyze operational challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to improve outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
- Apply sound judgment and decision-making skills to manage risks, resolve escalations, and support business continuity.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards within the area of responsibility.
- Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills to align CTC operations with broader business goals and performance expectations.
