Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Sales Manager to oversee our insurance business operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with Cluster Head and branch managers to manage and expand our insurance portfolio. This role also involves supporting client managers in their insurance – related tasks and conducting joint meetings and coaching with Relationship Managers.

What you will be doing:

• Oversee and manage insurance operations alongside Cluster Head and Branch Managers.

• Support branch frontline sales in their insurance operations, providing guidance and expertise.

• Conduct joint meetings and coaching sessions with branch frontline sales to enhance their insurance knowledge and sales skills.

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and targets.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

• Assist in mentoring junior staff and regularly provide training to new team members.

• Formulate and drive cluster-level sales penetration strategies in collaboration with Cluster Heads and Senior Management to hit strategic business targets

• Lead HNW legacy planning and complex insurance solution structuring, providing executive-level joint-call support on strategic accounts.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in finance, business administration, or a related field

• 8 years+ banking experience in retail life insurance business sales/coaching 

• Associateship / Membership related in insurance industry is preferred

• Professional certification in insurance (e.g. CPA, HKSI, IIQE, etc)

• Proficient in using insurance software and other related tools

• Strong sales driven, result-oriented with good communication skills

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
