Description
Supports, designs, maintains and monitors internal and external networks. Implements and manages all systems, applications, security and network configurations. Provides technical support and guidance to users. Primacy on Linux/RHEL operating systems administration and associated hardware; knowledgeable on Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems Experience in effective communication and collaborating in a high-performance team environment. RBAC and STIG policy management for RHEL systems Ansible automation/playbooks; YAML Working knowledge of CISCO network and switching and virtualization technologies Working knowledge of virtualization as it applies to users environments, operating systems, and network appliances - Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies Working knowledge communication security (COMSEC) policies and integration Working knowledge and current relevant experience with IL4 and above network environments/systems Must be familiar with DoD policy as it applies to implementing and executing system and network administration Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework and how to apply it to network/information system environments Working knowledge in the following programming languages: - Bash scripting, Python Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command Experience with USSF Defensive Cyber Operations 10+ years relevant experience and Masters degree; or 18+ years and a Bachelor's degree, or; or 25+ years and Associates degree. 1 or more Cyber/Sys Admin certs: Security+, Linux, Red Hat, AWS Cloud, CCNA or DoD 8140 Advanced Proficiency Place of work is Colorado Springs, remote work opportunity is limited. You may be required to travel periodically, less than 10%.
