Eaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.
The Continuous Improvement Manager coordinates and supports the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the entire plant. The role develops links between Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and business processes, plans and implements process and cost optimization programs, and ensures the standardization of plant processes as well as the sharing of best practices across other Eaton facilities.
## What you’ll do:
- Lead the Continuous Improvement function at the Bielsko-Biała plant, driving a culture of operational excellence and sustainable performance improvement.
- Manage and develop a team of Continuous Improvement Engineers, providing coaching, direction, and support to achieve plant objectives.
- Define and deploy the site's Continuous Improvement and Industry 4.0 strategy, aligning initiatives with business goals and Eaton's operational excellence roadmap.
- Drive the implementation and continuous development of Eaton Business System (EBS), Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS), and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) across the plant.
- Lead digitalization initiatives, including data-driven decision making, Power BI adoption, paperless processes, automation projects, and smart manufacturing solutions.
- Identify and deliver improvement opportunities that enhance safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, delivery performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate cross-functional Continuous Improvement projects and Kaizen activities, ensuring measurable business impact and sustainable results.
- Promote the effective use of Lean, Six Sigma, problem-solving, and process improvement methodologies through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing.
- Benchmark best practices across Eaton and external manufacturing organizations, fostering innovation and the adoption of industry-leading solutions.
- Support plant audits, operational reviews, and strategic initiatives while providing expert guidance on Continuous Improvement and operational excellence.
## Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related technical discipline.
## Skills, Experience & Leadership Competencies:
- Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, or Continuous Improvement environment, with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong expertise in Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement tools, and change management principles.
- Demonstrated experience leading plant-wide transformation projects, including operational excellence, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
- Solid understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, smart manufacturing technologies, data analytics, and digital transformation strategies.
- Ability to define priorities, make data-driven decisions, and deliver sustainable business results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive engagement and alignment across all organizational levels.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication skills, fostering trust, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and openness to diverse perspectives.
- Proven ability to lead organizational change and successfully manage transformation initiatives within complex manufacturing environments.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken; Six Sigma certification would be considered a strong advantage.
