Description
Key responsibilities:
•Assist underwriters in underwriting and end to end operational process of new and renewal business in accordance with underwriting and operational guidelines.
•Manage daily end-to-end operational support and inquiries for clients and intermediaries via phone and email, ensuring professional, accurate, and timely communication regarding policies and services.
•Handle client and broker enquiries by phone and/or email, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
•Manage and perform daily end-to-end policy issuance process for in-force policies, renewal, including endorsements, cancellations, policy updates, and changes in coverages and document management.
•Assist underwriters in performing any administration tasks, general operational support, ad-hoc activities and perform user testing as required.
•Maintaining accurate records and documentation of underwriting activities in accordance with internal service standards and procedures.
•Maintain positive and professional working relationship with colleagues and stakeholders.
•Provide high levels of service delivery and contribute to expected team performance standard.
Job Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
•At least 1 year of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding is preferrable.
•Persons who are familiar with Incoterms and shipping documents such as Bill of Lading (B/L), Commercial Invoice and Packing List.
•At least 3 years of experience in insurance operations, policy servicing, administrative work or client services.
•Good command of English both reading and writting is preferrable.
•Proactive, professional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, intermediaries and stakeholders.
•Strong prioritization, organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, positive attitude, adaptability skills are required.
•Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, ability to work towards deadlines and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment are required
•Ability to remain composed and professional under pressure, especially in busy or challenging situations.
•Proficiency in the use of MS Office specially Word and Excel.
