Senior Team Member, Net Asset Valuation

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Team Member, Net Asset Valuation to join RHB Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing key operational processes related to corporate actions, fee calculations, IPO cornerstone activities, foreign exchange rate maintenance, and static data management. You will play an instrumental role in ensuring operational accuracy, regulatory compliance, and process excellence while supporting the efficient administration of investment portfolios.

What you will be doing

• Manage and oversee corporate actions across all portfolios to ensure timely and accurate processing
• Manage fee calculations and IPO cornerstone-related activities in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Regularly oversee the maintenance and accuracy of foreign exchange (FX) rates
• Oversee the maintenance of securities, unit trust funds, and investment mandate static data
• Review and authorize transactions, instructions, and operational activities where required
• Act as a reviewer for instructions prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Review and validate static data setups for stocks and unit trust funds
• Review corporate action events and ensure they are processed accurately and within required timelines
• Ensure all transactions and instructions are captured completely and executed promptly
• Support issue resolution by applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills to operational challenges
• Drive continuous process improvements and operational enhancements to improve efficiency and service quality
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operational support
• Provide cross-functional support to other teams and sections within RHB Asset Management Operations as required
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory, risk management, compliance, and internal governance requirements

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Relevant experience in fund operations, net asset valuation, investment operations, custody services, asset management, or a related financial services environment
• Strong familiarity with trade processing, corporate actions, static data management, and investment operations workflows
• Good understanding of investment products, fund administration processes, and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly accurate when reviewing transactions and operational data
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions
• Ability to prioritize effectively and perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
