Summary of Basic Function:
The Human Resources Generalist is a member of the Brueckner Group USA HR team and supports HR activities across the US organization while serving as the primary HR resource for employees and managers at the Bridgeville, PA location. The position is responsible for the day-to-day administration and execution of Human Resources programs and processes and serves as the primary HR resource for employees and managers, providing support across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, payroll coordination, compliance, training, and performance management. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Manager and business leaders across the organization to ensure consistent HR practices and support the ongoing integration of the Hennecke organization into Brueckner Group USA (BGU). In addition to the local responsibilities, the role contributes to HR activities and projects across the US business, with a particular focus on process harmonization, continuous improvement, and digitalization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and facilitating onboarding activities.
· Process and maintain employee records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of employee data.
· Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, payroll, and HR programs.
· Administer employee benefit programs including enrollments, changes, terminations, and annual open enrollment activities.
· Manage employee leave programs, including short term disability, workers’ compensation, and other leave requests in compliance with applicable laws.
· Coordinate performance review processes and support managers with employee development initiatives.
· Assist in employee relations matters by responding to employee concerns, conducting investigations as appropriate, and partnering with management on resolutions.
· Prepare HR reports, metrics, and workforce data to support business decisions and compliance requirements.
· Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and assist with policy updates as needed.
· Coordinate payroll-related activities, including new hires, terminations, promotions, compensation changes, benefit deductions, and employee data changes.
· Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, taxes, deductions, and payroll discrepancies.
· Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation, auditing, and reporting requirements.
· Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
· Support organizational changes and the ongoing integration of the Hennecke organization into Brueckner Group USA, including communication, employee support, and implementation of BGU HR policies and processes.
· Provide HR support for initiatives and activities across the US organization, collaborating with HR colleagues, managers, and other stakeholders across locations and business units.
· Contribute to the digitalization of HR processes and workflows and to the implementation of Group-wide systems and initiatives. Responsibilities may include testing, data validation, documentation, training, rollout support, and user training.
· Coordinate assigned HR project activities, follow up on actions and deliverables, and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience required, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
· Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and effectively prioritize competing HR needs while collaborating with a broader US HR team, business leaders, and other stakeholders across the organization.
· Experience processing payroll and administering employee benefits preferred.
· Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
· Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Paychex Flex and/or Paylocity experience strongly preferred.
· Experience supporting HR projects, process improvement initiatives, digitalization efforts, or HRIS implementations preferred.
· Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to translate business needs into practical, consistent, and user-friendly HR processes.
· SHRM-CP, PHR, or comparable certification preferred.
· Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
