MAIN PURPOSE
Based on strong organization and interpersonal skills, the Marketing Product Intern is a key part of the Product team, providing added value in terms of sales support, marketing insights and project coordination, thus enabling product managers and the Marketing & Communication team at large to deliver impactful plans contributing to the success of the Maison.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 1 – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
SUPPORT THE CATEGORY GROWTH
Develops excellent knowledge of product scope, and optimizes products’ sources of knowledge for the team (for example, product mappings, product news, newsletters and announcements).
Demonstrates client-centric mindset, in providing timely and efficient support contributing to solve issues raised by boutique staff, by understanding the stakes of client-facing boutique operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 2 – MARKET INTELLIGENCE
PROVIDE INSIGHTS TO INFORM IMPACTFUL ACTIVATIONS
Contributes to the understanding of our competitive environment, clients and audiences, by regularly surveying the market for best practices, news, studies etc together with the Strategic Planning team when relevant
Extracts actionable insights, compiles reports, and develops new formats that can be shared to office and boutique teams
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 3 – PROJECT COORDINATION
ENHANCES WAYS OF WORKING AND CONTRIBUTES TO CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVE ACTIONS
Able to engage as a partner within a project, taking charge of own delegated tasks and working with the relevant stakeholders to reach expected results.
Demonstrates strong organization and time management skills in being able to balance several projects in parallel.
Some key projects may include (tentative): commercial events ; boutique activations ; campaign launches ; community animation ; internal communication initiatives ; boutique support ; etc…
PROFILE:
Experience:
University student with curriculum in business development, marketing, strategic planning, and similar fields
Prior work experiences (in a company or as graduate projects) in relevant field
Affinity with product retail and luxury
Skills:
Eager to learn, curious and proactive
Japanese and English fluency, any other language is a plus
Good organization and time management skills
Good communication & interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
