The Cargo Claims Director is a pivotal senior leadership position accountable for the daily administration and strategic management of all cargo claims operations within the [Region]. This leader is responsible for adjusting, handling, and settling a substantial volume of marine cargo claims, ensuring an efficient and compliant process from initial notification through final resolution.
The role requires coordinated activity with third-party administrators (TPAs), close collaboration with home office personnel on large losses exceeding branch authority, and establishing strong, productive relationships with underwriting and other key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, drives operational excellence, and consistently delivers high service standards to both internal and external customers.
