Overview

As Managing Director, you will lead the strategy, performance and growth of the business, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service, strong financial results and market-leading technical expertise.  You will be responsible for building a high-performing team, strengthening client relationships and positioning the business as the first-choice partner for insurers, brokers and corporate clients.

 

How you'll make an impact

• Set and deliver the strategic vision for the loss adjusting business.
• Drive profitable growth, operational performance and client retention.
• Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team of claims and loss adjusting professionals.
• Oversee financial performance, budgets and business objectives.
• Ensure excellence in service delivery, technical quality and regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain senior relationships across clients, brokers, insurers and industry stakeholders.
• Champion innovation, technology and continuous improvement across the business.
• Represent the business externally, enhancing market profile and supporting business development initiatives.

 

 

About you

• Significant leadership experience within loss adjusting, claims or insurance operations, with strong technical expertise across Property and/or Casualty claims.
• Proven track record of driving business growth, operational excellence and commercial performance, including P&L responsibility.
• Experienced in leading, developing and motivating high-performing technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with an established network and market credibility.
• ACII or FCII qualified (ACILA/FCILA desirable).
• Strategic, commercial and growth-focused leader with a collaborative approach.
• Highly credible relationship builder, passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes.
• Innovative and forward-thinking, with the ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
