Job Purpose and Objectives |
To ensure that Terminal maintenance is managed safely and efficiently.
Competent, safe and accurate completion of all allocated tasks is required to maintain the quality performance of the company.
Provide technical support, leadership and guidance to projects, operations and maintenance.
Comply with the Navigator UK Policy and Procedures

Key Accountabilities |
Produce engineering and maintenance procedures for new systems.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Navigator procedures.
Execute safety critical equipment routines ensuring correct installation, checks and precautions are taken
Ensure that all contractors working on the site comply with site rules and regulations.
Recommend and ensure actions on incident reports are recorded on the terminals Eventis system.
Monitor and report on consumable stock levels
Ensure inspections, defects and repairs are recorded on the site maintenance control forms.

Complete scheduled and reactive electrical maintenance activities on site:
Complete scheduled electrical maintenance activities, including but not limited to:
Providing electrical engineering support and fault finding to ensure operational performance of plant is optimised.
Completed corrective work/unplanned works
Day to day management of ongoing maintenance tasks completed by E&I contract companies
Ensuring suitable competency of all electrical contractors working onsite.
Perform isolations and complete isolation certificates in accordance with Navigator Isolation, Lockout & Tagout Policy, Procedures and Guidance.
Assist with the writing of procedures and permits required to ensure a safe system of work
Maintaining a stock of critical electrical equipment and assisting in the assessment process.
Providing electrical engineering support and fault finding to ensure operational performance of plant is optimised.
Project assistance of assigned projects within the guidelines and set out in the UK Project Management Policy
Execution of all assigned Eventis actions to the agreed timeline
Part of On-Call rota providing emergency engineering support to plant
Competent, safe and accurate completion of all allocated tasks is required to maintain the quality performance of the company.
Any other tasks that may arise in the day-to-day functionality of this position.

To comply with all current legislation and statutory inspection.
Ensure the UK policy and local procedures on site security are adhered to.
Ensure Navigator engineering and maintenance procedures are followed.

Assisting maintenance reporting and updates

Ensure the UK policy and procedure on site security is adhered.
Provide input as required to various audits carried out on the Terminal.
Provide assistance to Terminal emergency response as detailed in the emergency plan.
Ensure that all contractors working on the site comply with site rules and regulations.
Provide input on method statements, risk assessments and identify potential hazards.
Ensure all amendments to terminal drawings and documentation are redlined and issued for update
Attending HAZOP meetings, when requested, and completion of relevant actions.
Participate in safety audits and safety observation rounds.
All assigned training to be completed on time.

BTEC/NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Engineering discipline or time served apprenticeship.
COMPEX 01, 02, 03, 04 certified.
BS7671 18th Edition
Safety Instrumented System awareness
5+ Years’ experience working within a Petrochemical / chemical industry as an E&I technician.
IPAF 3A & 3B
PASMA mobile tower erection
Asbestos Awareness
Working at Heights
High Voltage awareness
