ABOUT THE ROLE

 

Danone is seeking a passionate and commercially focused Product Specialist - Adult Portfolio (Memory & Aged Care) to join our Healthcare Nutrition team.

 

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for engaging with Specialist Healthcare Professionals, General Practitioners, Memory Clinics, and key stakeholders to drive recommendation and adoption of our Adult Healthcare Nutrition portfolio.

 

This is a field-based role that combines clinical knowledge, customer engagement, and territory management to support business growth while helping improve outcomes for patients and carers.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Healthcare Professional Engagement

• Build strong relationships with Specialist Healthcare Professionals, GPs, Memory Clinics, and key stakeholders across your territory
• Educate healthcare professionals on product benefits, clinical evidence, and patient support programs through both face-to-face and digital engagement
• Drive recommendation and adoption of the Souvenaid & Fortisip portfolio through meaningful customer conversations and tailored solutions
• Identify customer needs, address objections, and influence positive changes in healthcare professional behaviour and recommendation practices

Territory Management & Business Growth

• Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with national objectives
• Identify growth opportunities and prioritise customers based on business potential
• Monitor performance against territory goals and implement actions to drive commercial outcomes
• Maintain accurate customer records, activity reporting, and sample management

 

Customer & Patient Focus

• Develop a strong understanding of patient, carer, and healthcare professional needs and journeys
• Support healthcare professionals in facilitating patient access to products and support programs
• Promote optimal patient pathways and identify opportunities to improve customer experience and business growth
• Act as a trusted partner to customers by providing solutions that improve patient outcomes

Collaboration, Clinical Excellence & Market Knowledge

• Work collaboratively with Medical, Marketing, Market Access, Customer Service, and Commercial Excellence teams
• Support educational meetings, speaker programs, and other customer engagement initiatives
• Maintain a strong understanding of dementia, disease-related malnutrition, the healthcare landscape, and competitor activity
• Confidently communicate scientific and clinical evidence while ensuring all activities are conducted in line with compliance requirements

About You

ABOUT YOU

 

You are a relationship-focused and results-driven professional with a strong track record of territory management, customer engagement, and commercial success. You are passionate about building trusted partnerships and making a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.

 

Ideally, you will have:

• A degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Nursing, Pharmacy, Science, Allied Health, or a related discipline
• Experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare nutrition, or specialist healthcare sales
• A proven track record of territory management and sales success
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to confidently discuss clinical and scientific information
• Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities
• A customer-centric mindset and passion for improving patient outcomes
