About the role (HVAC Lab Operations & Maintenance.)
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
- Lead daily HVAC lab operations for Chiller, VRF, RAC, LC, Sound, and Reliability laboratories.
- Drive high lab availability and productivity through preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure accuracy, repeatability, and reliability of test results.
- Define, track, and improve lab KPIs (utilization, interruptions, turnaround time, quality).
- Manage utilities, fixtures, instrumentation, calibration, and AMC contracts.
- Drive lab upgrades for new refrigerants, higher capacities, automation, and safety enhancements.
- Ensure highest standards of Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) across labs operations and projects.
- Ensure compliant handling of refrigerants, pressurized systems, electrical, and thermal hazards.
- Manage critical lab vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Drive process standardization, digital dashboards, and continuous improvement.
- Lead cost optimization, productivity improvement, and kaizen initiatives.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of HVAC Lab operations, product testing & Lab Equipment maintence requirements.
- Good Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements & HVAC Standards.
- Good understanding of equipment calibration requirements.
- Strong project management & execution capability
- Strong Interpersonal Skills & Stakeholders management
