Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Entry Management in Longwood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while using strong communication and technology skills. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and vendors while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor sign-in records in accordance with location procedures.
• Control access to dealership facilities, vehicle storage areas, service departments, and other restricted locations; report unauthorized access attempts or irregular conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business, parking areas, vehicle inventory locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control/badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
