Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Coordination in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at an automotive manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisory experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
