Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Panel Patrol Driver in Sewell, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Allied Universal is hiring Unarmed Patrol Officers to support a public parks and recreation location. Officers conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and provide exceptional service to visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and program participants by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at public parks and recreation locations.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of park grounds, recreation facilities, parking areas, trails, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, hazards, access concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
