Patient Care Services Coordinator (Infusion Clinic) - FT/64

Description

The Patient Care Services Coordinator is a dedicated and detail-oriented member of the healthcare team. The Patient Care Services Coordinator will:

• Oversee patient support activities such as scheduling appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers, communicating with health insurance companies and ensuring that patient needs are met effectively and efficiently.
• Have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to enhancing patient experience.
• Work in a variety of hospital locations including but not limited to the infusion clinic, the inpatient care unit, care management, and the emergency department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree (preferred)
• Hospital and/or nursing home affiliation (preferred)
• Insurance and prior authorization knowledge (preferred) 
• High level of comfort with technology including electronic medical records system(s)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• High level of emotional intelligence
• Comfort level with autonomy

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.00 - $22.50 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
