Clearance Level Required:
Active Top Secret/SCI with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for web-based and enterprise applications.
- Partner with software developers, systems engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into DevSecOps workflows.
- Champion testing best practices across the team.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements that enhance software quality and program success.
Basic Qualifications:
- US citizenship is required per contract.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
- 8+ years of software testing or quality engineering experience.
- Experience testing enterprise applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
- Experience developing automated test solutions.
- Knowledge of functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate results and issues to technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (i.e., Playwright, Cypress, etc.) and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python).
- Familiarity with enterprise applications and large-scale systems.
- Experience with API, UI, database, and performance testing.
- Knowledge of cloud-native applications and containerized environments.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CASTP, CAST, CSTE, Security+, or similar.
